Mountain Bike Search?

What mountain bikes have:
Dual suspension
Front and Rear Disc Brakes
Shimano EZ Shifters
Fat Tires
Adjustable Suspension
Under $500
Please help

You wont find one at that price, a good full suspension bike starts at $900 and goes up from there. A decent down hill bike will be a lot more.

Shimano road and mountain bike compatibility?

Is the sprocket spacing on the cassette and cranks the same for a mountain bike and road bike?
Will a modern 8 or 9 speed cassette fit on a mountain bike hub?
Is the pull ratio on mountain derailleurs the same as road derailleurs?
I have a recumbent with mostly mountain bike [...]

Can I use a Shimano XTR CN 7701 chain with a new LX M580 cassette?

Yep...no problem at all. Just make sure the chain isn't worn out so that you don't start wearing your new cassette prematurely.
